Rose holds a Master of Laws (Juris Doctor) and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. Rose joined the Estate Lawyers team in 2015 and was admitted to practice as a solicitor in early 2016.

Rose works alongside our senior lawyers in matters ranging from estate planning and probate applications to estate disputes and litigation. Rose has a keen interest in negotiation and problem solving to find the most direct route to resolve the matter.

Rose has extensive estate litigation experience, having appeared at directions hearings and instructed solicitors at both private and judicial mediations. Rose works alongside our senior lawyers and provides assistance by:

  • Drafting wills, powers of attorney, company constitutions and trust deeds
  • Drafting Affidavits and other court documents
  • Briefing barristers

Rose previously gained experience in litigation working as a Legal Assistant for prominent taxation and employment law barristers. She has also volunteered as a Legal Intern at Environmental Justice Australia where she gained experience in legal research and preparing matters for VCAT.

Madeleine has a Masters of Laws (Juris Doctor) from Monash University and completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law. Madeleine also completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne.

Madeleine joined Estate Lawyers Melbourne in 2015 and was admitted to practice in May 2016. Madeleine works alongside our Senior Associate in Estate Litigation, Estate Planning and Estate Administration. Madeleine regularly attends client meetings, obtains detailed instructions from clients, drafts Testamentary Trust, Wills and other court documents as required.

Prior to joining Estate Lawyers Melbourne, Madeleine worked as an Executive Assistant for two prominent Queen’s Counsels. Madeleine gained experience in litigation procedures and negotiations in the areas of taxation and insurance law. Madeleine also volunteered as a Legal Case File Manager at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre where she gained experience taking instructions from clients, drafting affidavits and helping the Legal team prepare for various court dates.
